Private Lessons
Singing lessons

Where we started: 1:1 singing lessons, or a small group lesson with two or three students. You or your child comes to The Studio, St Jude's or online as often as we can make work. This can either be regularly or during school holidays in our catch up/waiting list sessions.

We work towards your goals, whether that be gaining confidence, strengthening a specific part of your voice, gaining a better understanding of music theory, working towards a performance or anything else.

We run recitals and other chances to perform each year for all our private students.

Some of our students work towards exams with either ABRSM (Singing For Musical Theatre) or Rockschool Vocals.

acting through song

Naomi and Jack are trained actors with much experience between them. They both offer Acting Through Song lessons, which can be as a one-off, for fun, for an audition, for a show you're in etc.

Public Speaking

Jack is a fantastic public speaking coach who has given so much confidence to his students. You work on breath control, projection, speed and finding colour and interest in your speeches. Jack uses all sorts of texts to help you progress towards your goals, including song lyrics, Shakespeare texts, poems and other famous speeches, before working on your own speech to get it to where it needs to be.

Group Singing Lessons

Group Singing Lessons
School age group classes

These happen on Thursdays in term time with Alice at St Jude Welcome Centre, Tanners Street. The students learn songs, age appropriate technique and basic music theory in a warm, friendly and fun environment. Parents are expected to drop their child off and we have an assistant in the Primary School classes to escort children to the toilet, if necessary.

The first lesson is a free trial and then after that, the remainder of the half term is to be paid in full to hold your child's space in the class.

Timetable:

4.00-4.30pm Infant Singing Class (ages 5-7) £5 per class

4.30-5.15pm Junior Singing Class (ages 8-11) £6.50 per class

7.15-8.00pm Teen Singing Class (ages 12-17) £6.50 per class

Adult Group Coaching

Adult Group Coaching

Adult group coaching brings you the benefit of 1:1 lessons and all the technique and skill that you can learn in them, in a group setting where you will learn from each other's input as well as your own. This enriches your learning experience and you will be given a chance to embed what you've heard be taught to your fellow students, in your own songs. These sessions bring extra confidence as we endeavour to foster a supportive group environment where you can learn performance skills as well as specific singing skills.

Each cohort will consist of 4-6 adults who will come to St Jude Welcome Centre, Faversham at 8-9pm every Thursday evening for 6 weeks. These will be taught by Naomi and other teachers at NAVS who all bring their own unique input and insight.

The first cohort will have a discounted fee of £80 for the six weeks. After this, the price will increase.

The first sessions will run from 11th September to 16th October inclusive. To book in this first cohort, please fill in the form below.
